The Thief and the Cobbler

That's the image Wikipedia has as the main movie poster image. Its oddly cropped, it has a banner only on the top, and then an overly detailed background image that is bottom left justified for some reason.

Then Richard Williams picked one of his forty titles for the film, slapped it on there, put the Tiny Toon Adventures Logo in it, and left the rest a black void.

All it all its strange, jumbled, admittedly pretty in places, too busy at points, too spare in others, and honestly? Probably not finished.

In short its the most apt movie poster I've ever seen considering the movie its trying to sell.

We review Richard Williams, and somewhere in the cross hairs we manage to discuss The Thief and the Cobbler (and its many versions)

Apropos of nothing, here's a link to Double King if you haven't seen it.

Puss in Boots (1999)

I'm just gonna let you all know now, this episode should really be called 'Basics of Animation' and 'History of Flash' because we talk about that a Hell of a lot more than we talk about the movie itself.

One of the worst things we've seen on the show if not truly the very bottom of what animation as an art form has to offer.

Hats off to Phil Nibbelink though, he's a talented animator who has had a hand in making some of our favorite movies throughout the 80s and 90s.

This, however, was, to put it nicely, outside of his wheelhouse. Every single one of his wheelhouses in fact.
