Personally, I am opposed to the practice of recommending old films, TV shows, etc. based entirely on nostalgia. Bad film-making is bad film-making, regardless of what kind of warm, fuzzy memories any given property may inspire in the viewer of when he/she was a child with no ability to discern well made entertainment from poorly made entertainment. I would like for more people to join me in admitting that Rudolph, A Christmas Without A Santa Claus, The Little Drummer Boy and all the other Rankin-Bass puppet animated Christmas specials were just as bad as the one you guys reviewed, nostalgia be darned! Terrible animation, terrible scripts, annoying voices doing terrible line readings... Just terrible. Merry Christmas.
